Antiphon: A series of appropriation and inspiration, Part 1
Antiphon is a series that juxtaposes steampunk artifacts and ensembles created by the Good Ship Sappho with the photographs that inspired them.
This first example is a cropped picture of Kato (here is the original photo, I’m not sure where I found it last year) compared to a photo of myself. I have always admired the way Kato uses layers to add interest in her outfits. At first I thought that the way she layered socks and thigh-high stockings made her legs look longer, but now I just think she has naturally long legs.
