its-social-distortion asked: Well, if the crew of the Good Ship Sappho could handle yet another then I'd be honored to be brought into the ranks. I feel as though we'd get entangled in many an adventure. Though I must be off. The gentleman I 'borrowed' this contraption from is giving chase. So I must run.

its-social-distortion asked: I finally managed to 'borrow' a gentleman's electronic transmission contraption to get word to you. I've heard of the Good Ship Sappho's exploits and been enamored ever since. I've often dreamt of becoming a part of such a splendid crew. But what could a lowly thief and occasional tinkerer do for such a fine airship? Perhaps my dream are to far above me.

madamepirate asked: Oh goodness gravy gracious, that picture you posted? That's a Damsel in this Dress corset, isn't it? I would recognize it anywhere through anything. I have a corset similar, and I am such a fan of Michelle, the person who runs Damsel in this Dress!

Brass Tacks #179
Elisabet suspects the diameter of Kaedens head will continue to increase. She is discretely taking measurements to prove it.

Brass Tacks #178
Elisabet recently acquired a large iron instrument that she calls a “head caliper”. During the crew’s periodic physicals, Elizabet adds the measured diameter of their heads to her medical files.

Brass Tack #177
Contrary to what one would expect, the Sappho’s radio has little to do with the crew’s strange habit of bursting into spontaneous song.

Dearest Followers, old and new,
I apologize for the sporadic and inconsistent posting schedule, I have been having technical difficulties of late as it seems my not so trusty laptop has refused to cooperate with me and has had much trouble with booting up. Thank you for your continued patience with us, your loyalty is noticed and appreciated. Wishing you the best, Elisabet McDowell

Brass Tack #176
Perhaps it was the fact that she was never able to save her mother from her frightful disease, or the way that she was never quite able to live up to her parents standards in her own mind, but something caused the wary medic of the Sappho to have a notable fear of failing.

satan-chan asked: I saw your "getting started post" I think it's wonderful but here's my two cents! Department stores are indeed great for starters, but as a person who's first steampunk attempt was completely made from scratch I think it's great to encourage people to attempt to sew as well! Even if you just modify something a little bit on individual flair goes a long way! Tutorials...
